Mrs. Sarah Lee Lawson began her life journey on March 5, 1922. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana to the parentage of Mr. Luther Robinson and Mrs. Lucille Hall Robinson.
Sarah accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Mark C.M.E. Church.
Mrs. Lawson was married July 21, 1943, in Gregg County to the late Mr. Earl Edward (Early) Lawson. She was a domestic worker for a short time in her life then transitioned into a seamstress and owner of Lawson Cleaners. Later in life Mrs. Lawson became a certified home health worker for many years until retirement. Her life long achievement involved raising her four daughters and two sons with the sacrifice of being a widow at an early age.
Her enjoyment was reading and traveling to unforeseen states she would have never seen.
Mrs. Lawson is also preceded in death by her late husband Mr. Earl Edward Lawson, sister Anna Bell Breakenridge, daughters Sarah McLemore, Vivian Lawson and son Frank Lawson.
Mrs. Lawson leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted children, daughter Marion Williams (Marvin), son Earl Lawson (Deborah), daughter Marye Jo Lawson; grandchildren, Robert Kent Williams (Michelle), Marlene Williams, Kevin Blair, Marcus Williams, Kendra BlairāGarrison (Tyrell), Jonathan Lawson (Alexandra), Ondrey Lawson, Nicholas Lawson, Jason Lawson; great-grandchildren, Countess Williams, Charles Williams, Keshia Williams, Jonathan Lawson Jr. and Mia Rae Lawson.
