Mr. TC Means “Ham” was born to the late Birder Fare and Nathan Means on May 28, 1940. He was raised in the deltas of Mississippi by Birder and George Watkins where he was 1 of 11 children. When he was 15 years old, his family moved to Texas.
“Ham” was a visionary and a trailblazer. He had a heavy interest in classic cars. He started projects from close to nothing and brought the classic cars to life with a special flare every time. He was an entrepreneur of many industries: alternators and starters, logging, real estate, trucking in addition to many more.
TC was spiritual and a man of integrity who believed in honest hard work. He was super social and a passing conversation with him was fulfilling to say the least.
He was married to Gloria Means for 32 years.
Those who are waiting for his arrival are: his daughter, Luella Means and siblings, George Watkins, Fannie Minor, Georgia Thomas, Jim Grady Rowell, Emma Harold, Malvinue Watkins Ransom and Bernice Whitfield.
He leaves his family to mourn and cherish his memories: his wife, Gloria; children: Louise Wiley, Birdie Means Carlton, Tony C. (Kristi) Means, Nechelle (RJ) Alexander, Larry (Jennifer) Sanders, Tammy Jones, Keith (Stephanie) Luster, Earl (Janice) Royal, Venita (Al) Williams, Del (Angela) Royal and Stephanie Royal; numerous grand and great-grand children; siblings: Birder Porter, Robert Watkins, Vera Watkins, along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
