Tommie L. Ephraim was born in Panola County, Texas to the parentage of Russell and Claudia Bell Johnson.


She attended Wayside Baptist Church. At an early age, she was a leader in the choir and her back‐up singers were her 2 sisters, Emily and Ruthie.  She was a member of Bethel Temple of Longview.


Tommie attended Four Mile Elementary School and Turner High School.


She was preceded in death by brothers Willie Johnson, TJ Johnson, James Johnson and sisters Ruthie Mae Johnson, Annie Ruth Russell and a daughter Faith Regina Gray.


Loving memories will be cherished by: her children, Loretta Ephraim Wilder (Keith), Marie Ephraim (Michael Stafford), Larry Ephraim (Charlotte), Gladys Ephraim, Jeanette Flowers, Patsy Johnson, Doris Davis (Larry), Kerry Ephraim, Johnny Taylor (Ruby), Donald R. Ephraim; 17 Grandchildren; 25 Great‐Grandchildren; 5 Great‐Great‐Grandchildren; siblings, Emily Simmons (McKinney) and Mary Johnson (Longview) along with a host of other relatives and friends.
