Vallie M Bauchum

Vallie M. Bauchum was born April 29, 1946, in Longview to the parentage of Elmo Sr. and Ever Precious Watkins.  She was the youngest of ten. She graduated from Mary C. Womack. 

Vallie worked for several campuses in the Longview ISD in the culinary department until she retired.

She met and married the late Charles Bauchum, and to this union one son was born. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son: Michael J. Bauchum; grandson: Michael C. Bauchum; and, siblings: Elmo Watkins Jr., Jamie Watkins, George Watkins, Charles Ray Watkins, Earlie D. Watkins, Bobby Ray Watkins, Bessie Watkins, Lela Miller, and Evelyn George.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted granddaughter: Ashley Bauchum and grandson: LaDarian Norman; grandchildren: A’laijauh, Terrance, Tristynn, Ashlynn, Elijah, Kason and Landon; sisters-inlaw: Helen (John) Smith, Vernetta and LaQuita (Pastor David) Wrighten; brothers-in-law: Leon Lonnie and Lee Alfas; and, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
