MY LIFE ON EARTH

On February 25, 2020, our Heavenly Father found it necessary to call amongst his holy family, Varie Hopson Simon. She was born December 29, 1929 in Gregg County, Texas to the parentage of the late Adell and Lola Bell Hopson. Varie attended Ned E. Williams School and was employed in housekeeping with Summitt Healthcare Services, Jordan Healthcare, Westminster Buckner Place and Longview Regional Medical Center.

On November 5, 1956, Varie Hopson was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. James Pete Simon. To their union, no children were born. She was and will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt and cousin, along with many friends.

Awaiting her heavenly arrival: her parents Adell and Lola Hopson, husband Pete Simon and brothers William (sister‐in‐law Rosie), Joe Louis and Dan Harvey.

LEAVING THE PRESENT

Those left to cherish her memories: Sister, Annie Lois Moss; Sister‐in‐law, Charlene Hopson, both of Longview, Texas and a host of nephews, nieces and relatives. We are very grateful to her neighbors, Willie and Paulette Bush and Family, Richard and Deanne Norton and Kindred at Home Care for their patience, concerns, and thoughtfulness in her times of need.
