Vernon Lee Simpson

Mr. Vernon Lee Simpson was born in Panola County, Beckville, Texas to the union of LC Simpson and Josie Wilson on December 11, 1937.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jewel Simpson and son, Roderick G. Simpson.

RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION:  Very early in life, he gave his life to Christ and was baptized at Chapel Springs Church in Beckville, Texas.

EDUCATION:  He attended Sunset High School and Graduated in 1957, moved to Dallas, TX and returned to Beckville, TX.  He married Edna Eurene Westmoreland, July 12, 1956.

CELEBRANTS:  Rejoicing and sharing his life are his wife, Edna E. Simpson; sons, Edmund V. Simpson and Ronald A. Simpson (Terissa); daughters, Edna F. Simpson and Sylvia V. Simpson (James); his sister, Shirley Beck; 12 grandchildren;  9 great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, family and friends; along with his special friends, Clyde Holt and Curtis Dunn.
