Willie Cecil Harris

Willie Cecil was born October 20, 1938, in Gregg County. He was the 11th child of Aurthur D. and Ann Harris. He received his former education in the Gregg County Public Schools and graduated from Pleasant High School. 

He accepted Christ at an early age at Pleasant Hill CME Church.  

Willie was preceded in death by his parents; wife: Carolyn Harris; one grandchild; and eight siblings.  

He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters: Marjorie, Lisa and Shannon; three sons: Kenneth Harris, Ronald (Tania) Harris, and Cedric (Berolyn) Harris; siblings: Helen Anderson, Le’Gary Smith and Malvis Harris Jr. (who was raised as a brother); 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
