MR. WILLIE THOMPSON of Longview, Texas, was born to the late Philip Thompson and Dora Lee Thompson.
He was a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. He attended Longview High School, and graduated with the Class of 1982, where he played football. Willie was a fullback, wore jersey #32, and his nickname was “Hulk”.
Willie was a valuable employee of Crosby Lebus for 20 plus years.
He was also preceded in death by his grandparents.
He leaves to live: a loving daughter, Ambree Thompson; grandson, Kasen Brooks; siblings, Arlene Edwards, Dennis K. Thompson, Bruce E. Thompson (Terrian), Marvin T. Thompson (Debbie), Phyllis J. Thompson, Eric V. Thompson, Robert Jones, Loretta Freeny, Joyce Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
