Ms. Alisha Shantee Smith was born to Elease Gray and Milton Smith in Longview, Texas. She graduated from Gilmer High School.
Ms. Smith accepted Christ at an early age at Piedmont Church of Christ, Gilmer, Texas.
Alisha was a loving and warming mother and sister; a devoted daughter, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. Her love was expressed by her commitment to help and care for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, and cooking.
On March 7th she was called home to be with her mother and sister Mrs. Vickie E. SmithâHenderson (Doss).
Alisha leaves many memories to be cherished by family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Kersha Smith-Willis; her father, Milton Smith; 3 sisters, Willie Faye Waggoner (Hubbert) of Gilmer, TX, Alene Smith (Albert) of Longview, TX, and Theresa Newsome (ReDale) of Gilmer, TX; 3 brothers, Larry Smith (Vera) of Tatum, TX, Billy Smith of Garland, TX and Tony Smith (Wanda) of Dallas, TX; also a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
