David Lynn Crain was born November 30, 1977 to the parentage of J. D. Crain and Annie Crain. He resided in Henderson, Texas.
Longview public school system educated him and afterwards, he studied at Kilgore College, higher education, in a skilled profession. David participated in R.O.T.C. in high school and Longview Police Explorers. He was a HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan.
Church attendance was at Mt. Rose in Henderson, Texas where he was an active member. He served as a Deacon, Usher, and Choir Member.
He was employed at Wal‐Mart until becoming disabled with health issues. He also served faithfully as president of the Longview Chapter of the GMB Car Club.
He met and married Dorethea Polk Crain. Children of this blended family are: Summers Crain, Orlando Crain, and Trey Polk; siblings are: Ricky Crain, Latasha Crain, Tabitha (Anthony) Whitaker, Sirena (Leonard) Bradley, Daphne Tribble, Darren Crain; special niece and nephew: Essence Tennison and X'Zayver Crain; his God Parents, Mr. Cecil & Barbara Taylor, Melvin Coby; Special Kids, Draper Stinson, Desirae Thomas, Malik Coby, Brandon Coby, and Barbara Coby; also a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father J. D. Crain, grandparents James and Sally Williams, Oliver and Ruby Crain, and brother Gaylord Crain.
